A Chain of Victims
Red tides can start a chain-reaction of death. Red tide victims such as these Florida fish can pile up on beaches or in small quiet coves. As they rot and decay, the toxins can pass to pelicans, seagulls, comorants, and marine mammals who come to gorge on the dead fish.
